William Shakespeare is the most famous playwright of all time, but his life is largely a mystery. No one wrote about his life when he was alive, and he left few (if any) personal writings and letters behind for historians to study. But Tyler and Hannah still found plenty to discuss during this episode, including Shakespeare's dad's fall from societal grace after being caught trafficking one very controversial material, Shakespeare's marriage to Anne Hathaway, and of course speculation that many of his most famous sonnets are about a man.
