On Tuesday, March 6, 2018, as the season of Lent continued, Trey and Stephanie Cashion covered the topic of Reconciliation. The Cashions delved into the sacramental sign of Reconciliation, the Biblical basis for it, and how to promote it within the family. Reconciliation is vital in our journey to holiness and to communion with God. It involves repentance, or Metanoia, which in Greek means to physically turn around. Not only must we have sorrow for our sins in Reconciliation, but we must also resolve to turn away from our sinful habits and turn towards the face of God. Our memory verse this week is 1 John 1:9, "If we acknowledge our sins, he who is just can be trusted to forgice our sins and cleanse us from every wrong."
