A Link to the Past spawned a video game formula that’s still replicated to this day. This Super Nintendo Classic has a passionate community that continually plays it through streams, mods such as randomizers and those that simply want to relive the adventure to defeat Ganon and save Hyrule. Why is this game so good?
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past was released in Japan in 1991, so we’ll also take a look at other popular video games, movies and music released that year to give context to what was “Cool and hip” during the beginning of the 90’s.
