As Sustainability Delivery Manager for Scope 1 & 2 at GSK, Virgile drives the company's ambitious 2030 sustainability goals focused on climate action and becoming nature positive. His engineering background in energy systems, combined with a deep interest in social, economic, and environmental issues, has given him a unique perspective on the interconnectedness of global challenges—and their potential solutions.

Virgile's commitment to sustainable change extends beyond his corporate role. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he co-founded Foodarity, a non-profit organization designed to foster solidarity within organic food sectors. His diverse skill set has proven valuable in the social entrepreneurship arena, where he collaborates with established Brussels-based organizations like Declic en Perspective and CitizenFund.

As a facilitator promoting collective intelligence and social innovation with organizations such as Declic and The Impacters, Virgile tackles critical themes including social and solidarity economy and fair compensation throughout supply chains.

Virgile firmly believes we should strive toward nature regeneration, social equity, and fair wealth distribution, "with no one left behind, whatever their background." His philosophy acknowledges the complexity of our world: "The world is about shades of grey"—not simple black and white solutions.
