Make ”Security” Secure Again

Suddenly, everyone is talking about security clearances.  But hardly anybody is talking about security.

The fact that John Brennan got a clearance despite his vote for the Stalinist leader of the American Communist Party for president in 1976 and his longstanding admiration for and lying about the no-less-totalitarian practices impelled by Islam’s Sharia is a scandal.  Ditto clearances received by James Comey, who has publicly declared he was a Communist, and Huma Abedin who, together with her family, ran a Muslim Brotherhood front group.

No background checks are performed on radical leftists and Islamists in Congress, yet they can have access to highly classified information.

And a recent Treasury Department review suggests that hundreds of thousands of current government employees have received clearances without a proper background investigation, yet pose a “moderate” to “critical” risk.

It’s time to make “security” secure again.
