The Stories That Brought You Here
Society & Culture
Gregory was born in Birmingham, England during the Second World War. While still quite young, the death of his mother, would create a set of circumstances for him that ultimately led to a very challenging childhood. When he entered his late-teens he joined The Royal Air Force and began a career in the military for the next decade. By his thirties, a desire for something more in life lead Gregory to move to Canada. The choice to invest some of his spare time taking courses at university would then shift his life in a direction he never would have predicted.
Gregory will speak about these experiences as well as what it was like being a farmer in Ireland, being a teacher and why donkeys are such great animals.
