Earlier this year I came upon a quote from Theodore Roosevelt that's just stuck with me: "People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care." Let that sink in a little. How many interactions with others have you had where you were hurt by someone sharing their knowledge and understanding, but you didn't feel heard or seen? It's as if their words were meant more to make themselves feel better, or even superior, than to help you. Let's take some time to explore this concept of caring for others...
