In 1990, he kidnapped and killed a 20-year-old woman from Denham Springs, Louisiana. He was sentenced to 21 years in prison but later escaped with the help of a woman. He then kidnapped a 17-year-old girl, shot his accomplice in the face, crashed during a police pursuit, and ultimately killed himself before being arrested.
