Full Ep #344 Of The Clay Edwards Show On 103.9 WYAB
1. After only 7 day, the state of Mississippi has restored full water pressure to the city of Jackson. Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves held a hell of a presser yesterday afternoon and did not pull a single punch. We spend the better part of the first hour of the show breaking that down.
2. The question of the day was, what is your favorite closed restaurant? We discusses throughout the entire show
3. Ward 4 Jackson Councilman Brian Grizell was a guest on Roland Martings MSNBC show last week and said that it would cost the city of Jackson $1 Billion per treatment plant to fix Jackson's water woes. Suffice to say, he's really really wrong. We've got the audio for your listening pleasure.
4. Kingfish calls into the show to breakdown the Governors presser and discuss the city of Jackson blame game and lying over the water crisis
5. We play our 2nd Roland Martin clip of the day, this time his calling for violence against Trump supporters.
6. The state fixed the water plant for what they said was 10's of thousands of dollars, for some perspective the city was about to spend $1 Million dollars renaming Ellis Ave after blues legend and Mississippian Bobby Rush. I love Bobby Rush as much as the next guy, but it shows that this city doesn't have its priorities in order.
