This episode of the #NextPagePod addresses the paradoxical reality that while we face a growing number of systemic security challenges that can only be solved collaboratively, such as climate change and the COVID-19 pandemic, there is also an increasing amount of unilateral policies and political will globally.
Our Director Francesco Pisano welcomes Thomas Greminger to the studio to talk about what cooperative security means, and where it can be beneficially applied. As a security expert, the current Director of the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP) and former Secretary-General of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), he argues that collaboration is the best-proven way to fight our current security challenges and prepare against future security risks.
