Ron Anthe’s life changed forever on August 14, 2015. His oldest son Ryan passed in his sleep at the age of 26 due to complications he suffered from a substance abuse disorder that he battled from his early teens. As a father Ron watching his son battle all of those years, Ron received an education he didn’t ask for or want. Today he builds on that education by researching, reading case studies, and visiting with medical professionals on SUD and mental illness. Ron’s goal is to educate others by sharing his knowledge and experience in order to help prevent others from going through what he has. Ryan was set to begin speaking to groups and individuals sharing his story but he never got the chance. Ron honors his son and is proud to continue that path. His story is #ForAmerica.
