The End of Free and Fair U.S. Elections?

Yesterday, the House of Representatives approved Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s top priority on a straight party line vote. By so doing, it has moved to the Senate legislation that would effectively preclude free and fair elections in the future.

The so-called “For the People Act” – H.R.1 in the House and S.1 in the Senate – would permanently impose the sorts of problematic voting practices and processes that were used in a number of states in the 2020 elections. While Democratic partisans and their allies in the media insist otherwise, such arrangements caused last year’s presidential race to be marred by widespread and material irregularities, misconduct and outright fraud. They must not be legitimated, let alone enshrined in law.

Yet, that is what would happen if Democrats in the Senate muscle S.1 through. Senators need to know NOW if that’s not okay with their constituents.
