Following the burning of a Quran in Sweden, leaders of many Islamic nations have been demanding the country initiate criminal action against the anti-Islam agitator. Leaders of the Organisation of Islamic States have long been demanding that blasphemy be criminalised globally, and some in the West are beginning to wonder if their free-speech laws are worth the backlash from Muslims. But bowing to these calls will undermine hard-won gains for free speech across the world.
