An Oxford team of scientists led by Professor Adrian Hill, who heads the Jenner Institute, is surging ahead in the global race to find a vaccine to cure COVID-19. Pune-based organisation Serum Institute of India has even partnered with them to begin manufacturing of the vaccine, in anticipation that it will be cleared for safety and efficacy by as early as September.
