Sananda Maitreya, who started his career with the stage name Terence Trent D'Arby, is an American singer and songwriter who came to fame with his debut studio album, "Introducing the Hardline According to Terence Trent D'Arby". That album produced the hits Sign Your Name, Dance Little Sister and the number one Wishing Well. The album earned a Grammy and he appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone. Since then, he has released 13 studio albums and in most of his albums he plays all instruments and all songs are written, produced, arranged, performed and conceived by the artist, except where indicated.
