If you haven’t picked a word of the year or intention of the year yet, then you probably either haven’t gotten around to it (it can feel like a lot of pressure to decide) or you might be in the camp of not really getting the whole point of picking a word/intention.
I totally get that because that was me for years. It felt like some trendy thing to do to pick a word of the year because every new year, you’ll hear people talking about their word of the year.
But this year, I have a whole new perspective on this and I wanted to share it with you in case you’re not so sure of it yourself.
In this episode, we’re going to talk about:
The importance of picking a word of the year definitely changed for me this year and I hope that I’ve convinced you to pick one for yourself.
Write it down and put it somewhere that you can see and remind yourself what it is. Take it a step further, and find a Bible verse that supports your word. This will remind you that not only is a word that inspires you but God supports it as well.
I’d love to hear what your word of the year is. Share it over in the Mama With a calling FB group or take it to the next level by using this as a chance to start a conversation with your audience by posting it on Instagram. Share your word, why you chose it in relation to how it’s going to help you serve your audience this year. Tag me at @mamawithacalling and I’ll share it on my stories.
