Donald Q. Haute, Gentleman Inquisitator, and the Peril of the Pythogator - David A. Hewitt

A mysterious creature, “unknown to regular science”, has been spotted prowling the Florida Everglades. When Porthos the dog goes missing, the intrepid but astonishingly out-of-touch Donald Q. Haute, Gentleman Inquisitator, takes up the search. Accompanied by his faithful but short-tempered companion Sammy Jo, Haute faces both dangerous perils and perilous dangers in probing the sinister secrets of the world’s wettest wetland.
