Actively Being Present in the Moment

Being present in the moment is one of the most challenging practices. Yet it is one of those preferred destinations that we are set out to reach. Isn’t that funny? That, to be present in the moment, which allows us to relinquish the past in all ways and to allow the future to unfold without our efforts, is what we are out to achieve. We are already here, now in this moment. We’ve gotten this far. Now what’s left to do is detach from everything that keeps us from being here now!

More and more I’m able to experience the truth of what I just said. There is a precious gift available in this moment that will not be experienced until I train myself to be here and let go of everything that interferes with me being here. That’s the work of this process - Spiritual Immersion!
