History’s Biggest Ransom

This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute.

Earlier this week, Iran seized ten American sailors.  It released them the next day – not something the mullahs do.  

Secretary of State John Kerry credits this outcome to successful diplomacy and the close relationship he’s developed negotiating with his Iranian counterpart. 

Donald Trump says we only got our sailors back so quickly because, at that point, Tehran hadn’t recovered the $150 billion in frozen assets promised as part of the lousy Obamabomb “deal.” 

Interestingly, when our naval personnel were taken hostage, the Secretary of State suddenly promised that “Implementation Day” – the point at which the assets were to be unfrozen – is imminent.  For Iranian extortionists, that’s ransom.

Let’s be clear:  Once all that money is back in the mullahs’ hands, they’ll perpetrate more outrages – including nuclear-backed ones.  Heaven help the world they will then have taken hostage. 

Stop the Obamabomb deal. Now.
