Hurricanes, Natural Disasters, Medication & Your HEALTH is the unscripted topic for today. Sometimes, God tells us to do something and as high functioning women, we often tuck it away for another (more convenient) time. (Come on, I'm not the only one!) But my heart has been so heavy these last few weeks with all of the natural disasters and devastation. And it's been heavy for a lot of reasons. Hurricanes, Natural Disasters, Medication & Your HEALTH is the unscripted topic for today.

Sometimes, God tells us to do something and as high functioning women, we often tuck it away for another (more convenient) time. (Come on, I'm not the only one!)

But my heart has been so heavy these last few weeks with all of the natural disasters and devastation. And it's been heavy for a lot of reasons.

So when God nudged me a few times to "hit record and talk", I knew it was for a purpose. HIS purposes are always WAY better than my own.

I am learning to not only SURRENDER to the Lord but to also OBEY quicker when I hear Him speaking.

Medications people are reliant on have been on my mind as many people fled their homes with only the clothes on their back.

And came back to utter destruction. If they could even get back.

Can they even get their daily medication they are so reliant on? What happens when there are NO ROADS to get off your mountain to get to a pharmacy?

What happens when it takes DAYS for detailed support to come?

This is a terrible but important example of WHY your health is so important.

GOOD HEALTH.

GREAT HEALTH.

OPTIMAL HEALTH.

We get to decide what kind of health we want because there is always HOPE. We can decide to only take the medication that is absolutely necessary and wean off some of the others while choosing to make better choices in our lifestyle. (It works!)
