Monday WTF Aural Sex: 2015-03-09 (MFXXIII / 1,001 Albums: Albums 0039: Martin Stig Andersen - Limbo OST / Charles Mingus - The Black Saint And The Sinner Lady)

Gooood morning, perverts!  Yeah, I know it’s fuckin’ Tuesday.  If you had any idea, you’d understand.  Anyway, better late than never.  Emoclew to MFXXIII and the 38th albums from the two 1,001 Albums lists: the Limbo soundtrack by Martin Stig Andersen and The Black Saint And The Sinner Lady by jazz great, Charles Mingus.

I don’t know all that much about Charles Mingus, but I’ve loved what I’ve heard thus far.  Pretty much the same deal for nearly every jazz artist I’ve come across.  I did buy a tribute album of sorts a while ago called Weird Reflections that was done for Charles Mingus.  Lots of awesomeness on that album.  I highly recommend it, and this album right here as well.

As far as the Limbo soundtrack goes, well, it’s a little difficult to classify it as a soundtrack.  It’s really just dark ambience.  It’s great to listen to if you have a creative endeavor that requires you access to deeply buried sections of your mind.  I always love the fuck out of any music (or, in this case, ambience) that can do that.
