Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Season 5 Episode 5 "The Assignment" explained. Join me as I review and recap the episode where Keiko is possessed by a Pah-wraith in order to manipulate O'Brien into killing the prophets for them. This is when DS9 really starts to go full fantasy with the introduction of evil prophets. And this is nothing by a cliché body possession story that Trek as done many times before. Plus it adds the old "24" trope of someone holding someone's loved one hostage and threatening to kill them in order to manipulate that person to do whatever they want. On top of those clichés this is yet another "O'Brien must suffer" episode, that as gotten really tiresome. *yawn* Come see my first reaction as I breakdown the episode and attempt to give my in depth analysis
