In this prelude, Alex joins Chris to create Valentine — a Nosferatu child born from tragedy and secrecy. Through character creation and conversation, they shape a creature both innocent and horrific: a lonely boy with the mind of a predator and the hunger of the grave. Haunted by Ophelia’s death, Valentine prepares to step into the Twin Cities — carrying vengeance, curiosity, and dread.

About the Chronicle

Dread is the third story arc of Twin Cities by Night, a Vampire: The Masquerade chronicle set in the hot and humid summer of 2011 in Minneapolis–St. Paul.

Following the events of Negligence and Homecoming, the city’s Kindred find themselves caught in new webs of fear, grief, and corruption. In the dark heart of the Twin Cities, power and hunger have never felt so close.
