Democratic Party Leadership a No Show on Obamabomb

This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute. 

President Obama’s effort to foist on America his appalling nuclear agreement with Iran – with the support of only a minority of congressional Democrats who put partisan loyalty ahead of national interests – hit another speed bump Saturday. Democratic National Committee chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz reportedly blocked the DNC from considering a resolution endorsing the Obamabomb deal. 

Most members nonetheless applauded it in a letter circulated by a prominent Islamist sympathizer and enabler, James Zogby, who interestingly chairs the DNC’s Resolutions Committee.

Still, at a time when the President has manifestly failed to persuade the American people or a majority in either house of Congress on the merits, the pressure he is exerting on Democrats to blindly follow him is enormous.  Those who refuse to do so, including apparently the chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, deserve credit and thanks.
