The actions and skills of our heroes can feel unattainable. But the Bible shows us a different kinds of heroes, ones who were ordinary and flawed, just like us. These biblical heroes recognized their need for strength outside themselves, and God used them in extraordinary ways.
Ordinary people, just like us, accomplished extraordinary things. But what made these characters truly heroic? They did not simply point to themselves but instead to the ultimate hero, Jesus.
