The Crime Couch with Rochelle Jackson
True Crime
The final of a two-part podcast series about the true story of Ann-Marie Presland, who fell in love with "Aussie Bob" Trimbole, who in the 1980's became Australia's most wanted man. He was accused of being a crime tsar and the all-powerful head of a mafia family allegedly dealing in drugs, fraud, tax evasion and murder. Ann-Marie talks about being on the run, living in Hong Kong, Ireland and Spain. She lived in fear and in exile with the man she loved as he was arrested in Ireland and chased by the media until he's driven inexorably to his death. Ann-Marie reveals how a media image of Bob lying in a Spanish morgue still haunts her.
