Our guest Selene Yeager describes herself as an "accidental endurance athlete" who didn't get involved in long-distance races until the age of 39. She's since gone on to compete in the Ironman World Championships, race in some of the most challenging mountain bike events in the world, and compete in ultra-distance gravel events like the Dirty Kanza 200. She's been a contributor for Bicycling Magazine for over two decades and has published many books on a variety of topics related to endurance sports. You can find her latest publications at https://seleneyeager.contently.com/. She's also part of the team that puts on the unPAved gravel event in Pennsylvania. This classic East Coast event has something for everyone. Check it out here. https://www.unpavedpennsylvania.com/
