135 // Epiphany: Why It’s Best Way to Start the New Year

Welcome Back, Wellness Warrior!
Happy New Year…..AND Merry Christmas…..We are actually still in the 12 days of Christmas! 

There are many times to tell time, and the church has a calendar it uses and breaks the year into seasons. It all starts with Advent, then Christmas which lasts 12 days, and ends on Epiphany, January 6th. The word Epiphany comes from the greek noun- “epiphaneia” which means “shining forth.” Jesus came into the world on Christmas day and Epiphany is recognizing the light He brought to a dark world. And taking the day to reflect on the ways His light is in you and how you can spread that light in the world.
