We all face different forms of rejection in life, which can be painful. Many of us have faced rejection in the church, which is especially painful. Sadly, many churches have a habit of rejecting people who are different, sometimes citing Scripture for justification. But in today’s sermon we’ll see how Jesus’ original followers took a powerful stand against that painful message of rejection and set a precedent of radically expansive embrace.
