The EU’s Brexit negotiator Maroš Šefčovič will meet the British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly in Brussels tomorrow.
The meetings come amid reports that the UK’s Northern Ireland protocol bill has been put on ice to allow more time for negotiations on contentious protocol issues.
Fine Gael MEP Sean Kelly is a Vice-Chair of the EU-UK Parliamentary Partnership Assembly. He spoke to Karen Coleman (EuroParlRadio) in the European Parliament in Strasbourg about the reports that the British have suspended the protocol bill. She asked him if that signalled a change of mood in Downing Street.
