In this episode, Rob and Vinnie begin an introduction to the Seven Messages of Rev 2-3 by interviewing Mark Wilson who is the founder and director of the Asia Minor Research Center in Antalya, Turkey. Mark is the premier scholar on the seven churches today.
Mark Wilson is the founder and director of the Asia Minor Research Center in Antalya, Turkey, the country where he and his wife Dindy have lived since 2004. Mark received a D.Litt. et Phil. in New Testament at the University of South Africa where he is also a Research Fellow. He is also Professor Extraordinary of New Testament at Stellenbosch University. He is a member of many academic societies including the Society of Biblical Literature, the Evangelical Theological Society, and the American Society of Overseas Research. Mark is the author of numerous books and articles including Biblical Turkey, Victory through the Lamb, and The Spirit Said Go. His particular research interests are the book of Acts and the book of Revelation. He regularly leads biblical tours in the Eastern Mediterranean. He and Dindy have been married for forty-nine years; they have four adult children, four grandsons, and four granddaughters.
