Richard Walter is a Screenwriter, Author and Professor. And he is Former Head of Screenwriting for the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television. He's written a lot of books including Essentials of Screenwriting, Escape from Film School. Former Head of UCLA’s prestigious screenwriting programs. Importantly he has written scripts for the major studios and television networks, including the earliest drafts of American Graffiti.
