Canon Rath talked with Holly Carlini about their monthly update on what's going on around the Prairie Arts Center in North Platte.
NORTH PLATTE, NEB - It's that time again to talk about what is going on around the Prairie Arts Center in North Platte. With September rolling around, there are plenty of different activities, classes, and a new gallery in place. With time around the corner, the Prairie Arts Center is a busy time.
One thing that is new to the Prairie Arts Center is the new Sun and Shades gallery. The pieces of art in this gallery were created by the artist who received the invitation. "This was an invitational exhibit in our Erickson gallery, and we invited artists from across the state to participate in this gallery," said Prairie Arts Center Executive Director Holly Carlini. "We assigned them a task to either paint or draw or sculpt something either sun or shade related."
