Enabling the Iranian Threat With American Money

There he goes again. President Obama sent $400 million to the mullahs in Tehran in what appears to be the latest in a continuing effort to appease and enrich some of our most dangerous enemies. Predictably, what amounts to a ransom payment for American hostages has prompted the Iranian regime to seize more.

Speaking of American funds helping our enemies, Rep. Mike Pompeo of Kansas has launched a congressional inquiry into the $700,000 in contributions to National Public Radio by a group that slavishly promoted the mullahs’ line on Mr. Obama’s fraudlent nuclear deal with Iran. Even NPR’s own internal watchdog was concerned about the apparent connection between the money given to the network by the Ploughshares Fund and the favorable treatment NPR gave to its pro-Iran propaganda.

All those helping Iran become more dangerous must be held accountable.
