This is a interesting week for us because we are two white men in our 30's watching a cartoon about teenage girls in high school. How are we going to identify? How are we going to understand the delicate nature and balance of all these emotional relationships? To answer your question - we LOVED this show. Seriously. No sarcasm. We really loved every moment of this show and how it handled navigating relationships in high school. Both Sean and Dave are incredibly impressed by this show and its skill in portraying the nuance of relationships at this stage in life.
Will Dave go back to high school in order to identify as a woman? Will Sean get a job in real estate and then suddenly reallize his mentor is a swindler? (answers - no, that'd be creepy, and sure, why not have a dramatic career change!) All of this and more on this week's episode on the Saturday Mourning Cartoons podcast.
