Post Podcast: Alliance City Council meeting, March 16

Welcome back to the Post Podcast, I'm Kalin Krohe. Today we'll return to the Alliance City Council meeting from March 16. Council approved the Big Horn Avenue water main bid award to Hennings Construction of Gering and approved to use $19,060 of ACE funds for Alliance Recreation Center's new playground equipment. Council also approved to purchase two 2013 Ford Interceptors for the Alliance Police Department, a Viper NextGen 911 system and install four Motorola dispatch consoles and connection to the SRS at the law enforcement center. Council also heard a Strategic Plan presentation from Alliance Police Chief Philip Lukens and more.
