This episode features a few different people involved in the Peer2Peer program hosted by South Umpqua High School, the student agree to spend a few weeks working for a job that they are interested in. Umpqua Watersheds had the opportunity to host two students, a mentor (Ashlee Everett) and mentee (Malachi Flessas). The students talk about what they learned during their time with the organizations, along with their job site coordinator.
The second half of the episode features guest speaker Les Rogers, the Transition Network Facilitator for Douglas, Coos and Curry counties. Along side Les, was Vicki Poore another work site coordinator with ESD. These two discuss the program, history, importance and impact this program has on the entire community.
