Karl Rove’s ”Biggest Mistake”

Yesterday, the New York Times editorialized on a story it reported the day before about the George W. Bush administration allowing some of Saddam Hussein’s chemical weapons to remain in Iraq and, as a result, to be used against American troops.

Incredibly, having previously promoted the false narrative that “Bush lied and people died,” the paper still insists that President Bush was wrong in claiming Saddam had chemical weapons – even as it reveals that thousands of them were discovered in post-liberation Iraq.  

Ironically, the President’s own top political advisor, Karl Rove, allowed the Times and its fellow partisans to get away with the earlier meme – to the great detriment of the Bush presidency and our country.  He has since called that his “biggest mistake.”

The question occurs: Should anyone trust Rove’s judgment  now?
