Spearheaded by Tiesto for the first seven editions, and continued by Richard Durand from 8 through 13, the honor was bestowed upon Markus Schulz to be the primary curator of the series from the 14th volume onwards.
In September 2024, In Search of Sunrise not only celebrated its 25th anniversary, but also reached its milestone 20th edition. The most expansive volume in the series to date, featuring no less than six DJ mixes; by Markus, Solarstone, Airscape, Super8 & Tab, York and ZOYA.
To mark the occasion, Markus wanted to weave something a little extra for company as part of the celebrations, by going through the entire history of the series and highlighting some of the significant pieces that have shaped the various generations of the series. This is the Global DJ Broadcast In Search of Sunrise 20 Companion Mix.
