The name Gina Zamparelli may not roll off the tip of the brains for most of our listeners. So allow us the honor of making the proper introductions: Ms. Zamparelli is a trailblazer, being the very first female promoter to put on a show of significance and is a major player in the L.A. rock scene. She basically put a lot of your fave California bands on the rock n' roll map. With her segment on the Inside Metal documentary still fresh in our minds, we had the good fortune to sit down with Gina and discuss a variety of topics including promoting her first concert, her involvement in the Inside Metal documentary, and convincing David Lee Roth to lend a helping hand in historic preservation. She also regaled us with a gaggle of cool stories which had us on the edge of our seats (like raw meat being thrown at W.A.S.P. concerts). Definitely a front runner for Interview Of The Year!
