President Obama marked the thirteenth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks by unveiling the latest of his acts of serial national security fraud. His so-called “new strategy” reeks of cynical misdirection.

For example, the President insisted that the jihadist Islamic State or “ISIL” whose destruction he seeks is “not Islamic.” Nonsense.

His remarks were also deceptive about what it will take to roll back and defeat ISIL –just U.S. air-strikes, Persian Gulf nations’ money and foreign “boots on the ground.”

In fact, as Ronald Reagan showed, a successful commitment to defeat a hostile ideology in a truly global struggle, requires the use of all instruments of national power.

Only by doing again can we hope to prevail against our times’ totalitarians – the global jihadists and their toxic agenda.
