Ep 16: Phantasm (Part 2)

This week, CFX once again plunges back into the Phantasmverse for the thrilling conclusion to our epic review of the entire film franchise. In Part 2, we cover the final three films of the series which, as with the first two films, are all wildly different from each other but all share that same guerrilla film-making spirit. We evaluate the entire franchise at the end of the episode and, along the way, we learn:

• Whether or not “vanilla” is a “dairy product”
• Why bringing back original cast members may not always be a good idea
• How the family film Home Alone influenced one of the most violent sequences in the entire franchise
• What the hell is going on in Phantasm IV (actually we still can’t figure that out)
