Jihadists Are the Enemy

This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute.

President Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and other Democrats are prominent champions of one of the most misbegotten policies in modern American history: embracing, empowering and enabling the granddaddy of all of today’s jihadist organizations: the Muslim Brotherhood.

Unfortunately, they were joined in this strategic error by a number of Republicans.  Those who made such a mistake – on both sides of the aisle – must be held accountable for not having understood that the Brotherhood, like other Islamic supremacists, are avowed enemies of this country. 

It has been a disaster to have one Commander-in-Chief who got this wrong; our nation certainly cannot afford another one.

Sen. Ted Cruz has introduced legislation that calls for designating the Muslim Brotherhood as the terrorist organization it has always been.  Such a clarifying initiative should enjoy the support of all Americans – and all presidential candidates.
