Professor emeritus, Jo-Ann Morgan joins me to discuss the historical imagery of Black people and living in America. From Aunt Jemima to Sambo to current images in the media AA portrayal has been a struggle for decency. We have made great strides and the Black Panther Party of the 1960s and 70s was a huge part of reclaiming Black pride. As we close Black History month Dr. Morgan reminds us of the legacy of African American heroes portrayed through art.
