Studying the relationship between the player and the game world can teach us a lot about how games impact individuals, how to evaluate games critically, and even our own relationship with reality. After all, to make a good game, you need to know how your audience will interact with it. Dr Daniel Vella tells Daiva and Chris about the way he studies digital games through the prism of philosophy.
