We’ll Do Better Next Time, I Promise: Transmission 287, 2016 July 6

We have basically reached the "one month behind schedule" milestone, which is uncharted territory for us. Earlier, I promised that we would see/hear some egregious mistakes, and I have to say that I am not sure this program fulfills that promise. A strange aspect of looking/listening back to these "tapes" is that of comedy equaling tragedy plus time, or, more accurately, a smiley-face equaling a sad face plus time.

There is a bad miscue early on, which undoubtedly clouded my overall impression of the entire show--I even allude to it--and some surprisingly dynamic tunes that get in the way of my voiceovers (or is it the other way around?). Then finally there is the Bauhaus tune, which I regret to say my parents did listen to despite my admonition. I lack authority in this world.
