Today we get to sit down with one of the most vocal triathletes in the sport Andrew Starkowicz. Andrew is most well known for being the first American to go sub 8 in an Ironman as well as his overall ability to dominate on the bike. Recently he's made news for his battle with the "triathlon deep state" after falling ill with bronchitis shortly before Kona 2019 and trying to get a TUE for his medication. We also dive deeper into his life as a father with 3 young children, his experience in the sport having raced professionally since 2006 and how the infamous Real Starky saga unfolded from his perspective.
