A Chatham-Kent councillor who's stepping aside from her council duties to battle breast cancer is hoping that sharing her story will help others with early detection, the Children's Treatment Centre of Chatham-Kent is ringing in the holiday season by crossing a few items off its wish list thanks to a recent donation, and the federal government wants to extend the deadline for expanding the medical assistance in dying law.
