In Under His Hand, Marco Giovanni learns what it truly means to serve. Summoned before Prince Philip Brentwood, he faces the cold etiquette of the Camarilla’s upper court—a world where every word is measured, and every promise carries a price.

What begins as a formal audience soon becomes a reckoning. The prince’s civility masks a quiet command, one that binds Marco not as a guest, but as a resident of his city—a Kindred expected to act in the prince’s name, and to pay for that privilege with loyalty and results.

As night deepens, Marco finds himself balancing power and obedience, family and faith. The final moments of the episode descend into ritual—a solemn act that blurs the line between reverence and submission, and reminds him that his damnation is not only inherited, but chosen.

About the Chronicle

“Eidolon” is the fourth major arc in the Twin Cities by Night Vampire: the Masquerade continuity — following Negligence, Homecoming, and Dread — yet it also stands alone as an introspective, horror-laced drama.

Set in the fall of 2010, Eidolon explores themes of death, obligation, and the unseen cost of power. The story follows Marco Giovanni, a necromancer drawn into the Twin Cities by the command of an elder, where he must expand his clan’s reach while contending with his own haunted past.

A duet chronicle between Adam (as Marco Giovanni) and Chris (as Storyteller), Eidolon continues Twin Cities by Night’s tradition of exploring the personal horror at the heart of Vampire: the Masquerade — this time, through the eyes of one man bound by ghosts both living and dead.
