The menopause is one of the last taboos in society and for many women. It’s a time when our bodies and minds can undergo profound natural changes - but why don’t we talk about it more with each other, our families and employers, and why can’t this journey in a woman’s life be as positive and powerful as any other? Sports therapist and performance coach Melina Healy works with women going through the peri-menopause and menopause to optimise their experience and help them to rethink their relationship to it – and argues that the menopause should be part of any progressive business’s wellbeing package.
